Our client is a fully integrated property development and investment company with rapid growth within their market sector. They develop and manage some of the most luxurious and prestigious residential projects in Asia. The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Project Director to head up their Project Team.
The incumbent will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and will undertake luxury residential projects in both Hong Kong and China. The Associate Project Director will be responsible for overseeing the development from inception to ensuring on time completion.
Responsibilities

Planning for project development from project schedules, resource allocation and monitoring mechanisms to ensure each project has realistic goals and timeframe

Oversee project management from planning implementation, execution, coordination among the teams and appointment of consultants to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Control project execution including communication with project team members and performance level of project managers, to ensure the quality of project delivery and design specifications are fully met.

Evaluate each project including the quality of work done, overall process and performance of consultants and contractors to ensure the projects are completed according to plan and specifications.

Manage and motivate consultants; contractors and the project team to ensure they can deliver the completed project works in time and with the expected quality standard.
Requirements

Degree qualified in architecture/surveying/engineering/building service engineering or equivalent with minimum 10 – 15 years of project experience in property development

Experience in luxury residential projects ideal though not essential

Excellent communication, negotiation, project management and leadership skills

Pro active and able to work under pressure
