Job Description
One of the largest insurer company in the world is now seeking an experienced Testing Manager to join their professional team of various projects to the 8 countries.
Responsibilities:
· Plan and lead capability development and knowledge management on testing for IT and Business User organizations in 8 countries
· Execute formal review cycles and entry / exit point for each phase of testing
· Engage with relevant stakeholders and secure the requisite sign-offs to capture the required metrics and generate required reports
· Define and execute the overall test strategy, approach and methodology for all phases of testing
· Ensure all test effort is well planned, monitored and executed the core activities by the Testing framework in a consistent manner
· Build up testing capability for Core & Peripheral Systems with effective sourcing for optimized cost ,matured testing process for quality improvement and automated testing tool for efficiency
· Establish and lead the test center to validate solutions for meeting the business purpose requirements and build into a sustainable centre for following phases:
Ø Test Phases – Unit, System, Integration, Functional Acceptance, Performance & Stress, Regression
Ø Test Deliverables – Approach, Scenarios, Conditions & Expected Results, Test Cycle Control Sheet, Test Scripts
Ø Test Review Process – Informal Review, Formal Review, Sign-Off, Quality Assurance Review
Ø Test Metrics and Reporting
· Evaluate new testing trends and best practices and recommend improvement to testing methodology, process and standards
Requirements:
· University degree in Computer Science or related fields
· Minimum of 5 years testing experience in a large-scale IT organization /system implementation projects, covering various phases of testing
· Strong IT management skills and experience, and a proven track record of developing, testing, implementing and maintaining business systems
· Knowledge in testing methodologies and processes (hands-on experiences with test management tools.)
· Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality and compliance with established project standards
· Working experience /with understandings of Asia Pacific countries’ characteristics, culture and work style is a distinct advantage
· Knowledge of Quality Standards and procedures and automated test tools
· Experience in leading captive /outsourced Test Center is an advantage
· Preferably with experience in Banking/ Finance, Insurance business knowledge
